【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsfortransparentweldingcurtains,stripsandscreenstobeusedforshieldingofworkplacesfromtheirsurroundingswherearcweldingprocessesareused.Theyaredesignedtoprotectpeoplefromhazardousradiantemissionsfromweldingarcsandspatter.Weldingcurtains,stripsandscreensspecifiedinthisstandardarenotintendedtoreplaceweldingfilters.Appropriateweldingfiltersforintentionalviewingofweldingarcsfromadistanceoflessthan2marespecifiedinEN169.Thepresentstandardisnotapplicableforweldingprocesseswherelaserradiationisused.Darkercurtainsorscreenscanbeusedformutualseparationofadjacentworkplacesforreasonsofcomfort.
