【摘要】:The3.5%NaClsolutionalternateimmersiontestprovidesatestenvironmentfordetectingmaterialsthatwouldbelikelytobesusceptibletoSCCinnaturaloutdoorenvironments,especiallyenvironmentswithmarineinfluences.3,4,5Fordeterminingactualserviceabilityofamaterial,otherstress-corrosiontestsshouldbeperformedintheintendedserviceenvironmentunderconditionsrelatingtotheenduse,includingprotectivemeasures.Althoughthistestmethodisintendedforcertainalloytypesandfortestingproductsprimarilyintheshort-transversestressingdirection,thismethodisusefulforsomeothertypesofalloysandstressingdirections.1.1Thistestmethodcoversauniformprocedureforcharacterizingtheresistancetostress-corrosioncracking(SCC)ofhigh-strengthaluminumalloywroughtproductsfortheguidanceofthosewhoperformstress-corrosiontests,forthosewhopreparestress-corrosionspecifications,andformaterialsengineers.1.2Thistestmethodcoversmethodofsampling,typeofspecimen,specimenpreparation,testenvironment,andmethodofexposurefordeterminingthesusceptibilitytoSCCof2XXX(with1.8to7.0%copper)and7XXX(with0.4to2.8%copper)aluminumalloyproducts,particularlywhenstressedintheshort-transversedirectionrelativetothegrainstructure.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundunitsinparenthesesareprovidedforinformation.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
