【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeofferstwoalternativephysicalsamplingprocedures:cruciformsamplingandrandomsampling.Thechoiceofprocedurewilldependupontheintendeduseforthetestresults,theresourcesavailableforsamplingandtesting,andtheavailabilityofexistingdataonthemechanicalpropertiesandspecificgravityofthespeciesofinterest.1.2Athirdprocedure,doublesampling,isincludedprimarilybyreference.Thisprocedureappliestheresultsofcruciformorrandomsamplesthroughcorrelationtoimproveorupdatepropertyvalues.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
